How can Santa deliver all those gifts in one night?

That certainly is a good question and took a lot of math to finally get it all figured out! As you may already know, since I deliver presents around the world, I can use the time zone changes to help me on time! That gives me a full 24 hours to get from the first house to the last house. I leave at 6pm Christmas Eve allowing 6 hours to get to the first house. Normally I return home by 5:40 a.m. on the 25th.

I arrive at the first house Dec 25th at 1201 a.m. But at the last house, it is only 1201 a.m. on the 24th! I do all the houses on the first time zone and it takes a little over an hour to do each time zone. Now I know you are thinking, if it takes over an hour to do each time zone, then how could I possibly finish 24 times zones in over 24 hours! Well there are HUGE bodies of water that are part of the time zones. I only deliver to humans, so no crabs or fish get any presents (chuckle, chuckle).

There are also many countries that do not believe in Santa. They have different holidays and that saves me a lot of time as well! So between the Oceans and countries where most have a different holiday, I make up so much time I can actually stop for snacks! I even have time to feed carrots to the reindeer!

Now the speed comes from some magical dust the elves conjure up each year for me. With a sprinkle of a very finely tuned set of Elf Dust, the reindeer become super powerful and are able to fly. The dust also lightens the sleigh (and myself Ho!Ho!Ho!) Thanks to the illustrious Elf Loopy, the sleigh contains the latest and greatest levels of StElf technologies' enabling me to keep track of which houses I have gone to and which is next. I fire up the H.U.D. that is attached to Rudolph's harness, and he leads us just as quick as can be expected roof top to roof top.

Being so light makes us travel nearly the speed of light (which is purty dang fast!) and the only thing left for me to do is make sure I have all the right gifts when I enter a home. I could tell you more on that, but that is an entirely different set of words! So in the end, it is a little elf dust, flying near the speed of light, having good house guidance system and of course, best of all, time zones that allow me to finish deliveries by 2 a.m. on the 25th even though I have been in flight for over 30 hours!
