It is cold today, a lot colder then usual. I am sitting in my favorite spot with my hot chocolate looking out over Christmas town. I can't believe how much it has grown in just 1 year. Out in front and to the right of me I can see, or just about see the elfrin sledding down Marshmallow Hills. The elfrin remind me of rainbow sprinkles on top of vanilla ice cream. I can tell by their laughter that they are having a wonderful time. Straight out in front are the new neighborhoods. It is quit a sight with all the lights lit. If I use a little bit of imagination I can see a huge Christmas wreath decorated with hundreds of lights. There is a skating party down on Chocolate Lake, they all seem to be having a good time. I bet if someone fell he or she would stick to the ice it's so cold.
It's getting late and one by one the shops and restaurants are turning out their lights and all elves are heading home or to a party. Mrs. Claus is calling me saying to come in. She can't believe I sat out here this long. My hot chocolate has ice in it and I'm freezing. I think I stayed out too long, however, I think I'll keep it to myself. I'll go sit by the fire and have some cookies and hot chocolate without the ice.
