Today has indeed been a strange day! It isn't any special holiday but everywhere I looked I saw a party. Elves were singing and eating and working. Since we are ahead of schedule and have lots and lots of toys ready to go to good girls and boys, and the elves were still working I didn't stop any of the parties. I, instead, visited each and every single party and ate way too much food. I was stuffed and prayed that Mrs. Claus didn't want an early dinner. I left the workshop and walked at a snails pace while I hoped by the time I got home I'd be able to eat again.
To my surprise Mrs. Claus was sewing and said she was waiting for a batch of candy. She wanted to wrap it after it cooled and then maybe go to the restaurant for some pizza. 2 hours later I was starving while I watched her wrap the candy. I thought about "testing" one piece but I was so hungry I didn't want to delay getting to the restaurant while she fussed with me about her candy count. You know Mrs. Claus has to stay where she is and fuss, she can't do it on our way to some place. We had a nice walk home, a quiet evening and now are getting ready for bed.
