Last night at dinner Mrs. Claus and I talked about how scary the day was and how terrible it could have been. We were very, very lucky that all the elfrin listened to their teachers and didn't panic and run all over the building but stayed in their line and followed the elfrin in front of him or her out to safety and the fire elves. We commend the teachers for their fast reactions and ability to keep everything in perspective and making sure all of their "charges" were safely out of the building. Sitting here I shutter when I think of what I could have had to be writing this morning if things had gone differently.
Jonno just came in and broke my train of thought he said that he had just dropped the sleigh off at the mechanics for it's first overhaul of the season. It will be back today and I will go on a test drive. I think I will combine the test drive and checking up on the children of the world. Yes, that's what I'll do! The reindeer will really enjoy it.
I'm going to call it an early night. After yesterdays events and all the worrying of what could have been today, I'm worn out. I can finish the paperwork in the morning after I get a good nights rest.
