The storm hit with all its fury! Believe me, it was a lot of fury!! The snow fell in blankets and the wind howled like a lonely wolf on a dark scary night. Trees were bent over from the weight of the snow so far that I was sure I saw their tops touch the ground. Ropes were strung from building to building so when one of us had to go out, he or she wouldn’t get lost. Even the reindeer wouldn’t go out and they love snow! They stayed curled up with their families in their caves or in the stables in reindeer village. Chocolate Lake looks more like Marshmallow Pond. I can’t even find Peppermint Bridge!! Everything is just about even with all the snow, except for the mountains of course. Christmas Town never looked so flat. Sure is a lot of snow and ice on those mountains, I hope that’s where it stays. I will have to make sure the Fire Department gets up there to make sure we are safe from an avalanche. Like everywhere else, an avalanche could cause a lot of trouble for us. It could be very dangerous to the communities surrounding Christmas Town.
