Good Morning! And it is indeed a very good morning! I checked on Binky this morning and he is just fine. Of course, his parents won't let him an inch away from them. Mrs. Claus and I were up all night talking about what could have happened to him. I will admit that I was getting very nervous when we couldn’t find him. We flew all over the North Pole and then happened to see Mr. and Mrs. White's house. Mr. and Mrs. White are polar bears that live on the very west edge of Christmas Town. There on their candy cane pole was a flag. The flag is a notice that something is unusual. We landed and got out of the sleigh near their front door. As we walked to the door it opened and Mrs. White waved for us to come inside. The Whites offered us some hot cocoa and told us all about coming home from a party and finding this poor little reindeer huddled up under a holly bush, shivering. Mr. White picked up the little one and they continued home. They hung the flag out in hopes someone would be looking for this precious little one. They said they were planning the trek into Christmas Town in the morning if no one saw the flag and stopped.
When we finished the coco I thanked the Whites for them taking care of Binky and told them how happy his parents would be to know he is safe. Mrs. White opened the 2nd door on the left and there, curled up with their 2 cubs was Binky. I woke him up and then Bells helped him into the sleigh. We waved bye to the Whites and headed back to Christmas Town. It was getting very late. It was already 11:30 p.m.
Its now approximately 11:30 a.m. and the elves are packing the sleigh. I am going to eat some lunch and then take a nap. Mrs. Claus is insisting on it and the things that need to be taken care of Jingles can handle. I, however, have to check the Good Girl and Boy Lists first to make sure none of those on the list has fallen off.
Ho! Ho! Ho! I have had a good nap, a delicious dinner, am all dressed and the sleigh is packed. All the elves are ready to see the reindeer and myself off. A big kiss to Mrs. Claus and I'm out of here!
