I got up to singing this morning. Mrs. Claus was singing as she made breakfast. She said she had some more candies to wrap and then was going out to lunch with a couple of her helpers. She is going to meet me at the Elf School for their graduation. Out of the graduating class of 15 elves, all the girls are going to be helping Mrs. Claus for several seasons. Mrs. Claus has the task of assigning them their duties. She loves to get new elves. She even sometimes makes up things for them to do if there is nothing going on just so they can stay with her.
I went to the workshop after the graduation and of course it was all rush, rush, rush. All the elves are excited and when they are excited things happen very quickly. Because of the help we got from our friends while we dug out from under the avalanche, we will finish ahead of schedule. It looks like a fairly easy day for everyone tomorrow. What is all that noise?
I found out what the noise was. When I went outside to see what was going on there was PoohBear, JoyJoy, Jewels, Prancin and dozens of reindeer with Tawny and Roscoe Reindeer right in the front of the crowd. It seemed that their little doe had wandered off. That's not good; it's very cold and it is supposed to snow again tonight. No little one will make it in this weather. Every available elf volunteered to help look for Binky because there is nothing more important then our children. Bini and DownUnder teamed up and went east. Wreath and Tiggy teamed and headed south. Ta Ta and Storm went west and Shua and Shelly went north. Dozens of other elves spread out to look in Christmas Town again. Snowy will be the lead elf on the search there. It's 10 p. m. Milaya and I have come back for some hot coco. No one has seen Binky all night. I have just about flown over all of the North Pole myself looking for him; there just isn't any sign of him. We will not give up! We will find this little one. I have to get back to the search. Bells is going with me this time around.
Good news!! Binky has been found and he is safe at home with his family. Every one here at Christmas Town is very happy, cold and tired. I will tell you all about Binky's adventure tomorrow. Good night.
