What a glorious morning, for me anyway. Mrs. Claus was making candies and cookies last night. This morning she gave me a big “surprise” box and said it was for the entire workshop. When it was opened there were all kinds of cookies and candies, plus popcorn, potato chips and pretzels of all different flavors. Mrs. Claus and her group packed snack packs, three to 4 cookies in a pack, a small box of popcorn, little bags of chips and pretzels, little boxes of candy canes, ribbon candy, chocolate straw and on and on. They had surprised us with samples of everything. I just hope the elves don’t get carried away and teddy bears start having ribbons of candy or crowns of pretzels. If that happens I will have to put a stop to eating the snacks while making the toys. I’m not being mean and I probably would find some of the “costumes” funny but we are too close to Christmas to get crazy now. The elves are great though, so I know I have no worries.
Songs are being sung, vacation plans are being finalized, toys are being made and presents are being wrapped. Reindeer are practicing; bells are being polished and Christmas decorations are gleaming on the freshly fallen snow. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Three days, Three days!! Can you believe it? Three days and the reindeer and I get to take that wonderful ride to visit each and every one of you good girls and boys.
The answer to yesterday’s Christmas Trivia is:
