What a wonderful night in Paris Mrs. Claus and I had. We walked to the Eiffel Tower, went to the top and saw the city of love. I looked at Mrs. Claus and saw in a moment the centuries that we have spent together and felt a confirmation of our love together. After Paris we flew over Rome and then Greece. We headed home and watched a movie with some cocoa and cookies. I could not have asked for a better night. Today though, at the candy factory, NiteTime tried to help out with a new contraption. Well, needless to say (HO! HO! HO! I am getting used to saying that this year) every elf that came in became covered in caramel or chocolate and wrapped! The wrapping was rather pretty though. Poor Grey got covered in chocolate but as she was being wrapped she fell out of the wrapper and into the sprinkles, she was not too happy about that. HO! HO! HO!
NiteTime and Loopy are at their wits end trying to keep up with the demand for new video game systems. Sledz has been trying to keep up with the new super hero toys and if she says “Avengers Assemble” one more time I am going to throw her into a snowbank myself HO! HO! HO! The big day is almost upon us and for once in a long time I can honestly say that we are ready before Christmas Eve! I know I had my thanks when the USA had their Thanksgiving but I am a lot more thankful today than I was then. I am thankful for new found friends, old friends, the love of Christmas and that the belief in the Christmas spirit has been renewed.
On that note, I am going to retire for the night and say goodnight my darlings. 5 days until Christmas day and 4 days until the “Big Trip”.
