Well, it was a long night but very productive. There were a few names that were teetering onto the naughty side but I think everything worked just right! Today Jingles and I confirmed the final agreement on the route I would take (which is the same one I take every year), we got the final weather report and all is a go on that front. I went down to the reindeer lodge and I checked in on my team and I was reassured that they are at their prime for the season and all of them are ready to fly. The next stop was to the garage to see the sleigh. I walked in to see Sharati with the sleigh dismantled!!! I looked at her and aksed “Sharati, why is the sleigh not in one piece?” Sharati said “Well, I figured one last overhaul wouldn’t hurt anything.” I shook my head and said “Please tell me you will have it back together before it has to be on the runway on the 23rd.” “Sure, sure Santa. No problem big guy, I got your back.” said Sharati and then she turned back around to her diagnostic machine. I walked out saying a Christmas prayer that Sharati was going to have the sleigh together in time.
Afterwards I went to the toy shop and checked in on production. I saw Elf Treasure and asked her for a status report. “Everything is on task and will be completed and wrapped making them all ready for loading on the 23rd Santa.” “Excellent!” I said, and continued to walk around looking at the wonderful job all the elves have completed. I thought to myself “The children of the world are going to be very happy this year.” I know I am very happy and proud of all my elves.
As for now, this is the crunch time so I have to get up to my study to make sure that I answer each and every letter that is written. It would not be nice if I didn’t answer them all on time! HO! HO! HO! So time to enjoy some cocoa and cookies! Goodnight and sleep tight my darlings. I will see you in a few days!
