Every year, starting in February, Mrs. Clause and I have the honor of being invited to the homes of our Elves. Today we went to ChristmasCarole's. Her elfrend (children) were there as well. Her sister Alice is moving here from South Cliff, and is staying with ChristmasCarole. It was so nice to see everyone in one place at the same time!
While we waited for dinner Mrs. Claus and ChristmasCarole chatted about recipes. Athough her elfrend are grown they went outside to play in the new fallen snow. Christopher, Kellie and Matthew formed a team against Silvie, Alan and Alice, to see who could build the biggest snowman. As I watched I wondered how they were ever going to manage putting the huge balls they rolled together.
Alice was holding her team's ball back so it wouldn't roll down the small hill beside their house. The only problem was she was standing under the eave of the roof and all the laughter and shouting cause the snow on top the roof to fall on Alice. Alan thought she was the snowman they had started to build and was adding more snow to it. All of a sudden Alice let out a scream and moved. It took us an hour to find Alan! Poor Alan, at first he didn't think it was funny, but then we laughed about it all night long.
Thank you ChristmasCarole and Family. Mrs. Claus and I enjoyed ourselves immensely.
My cocoa is all gone and I need a bath and a good night sleep. Until tomorrow my friends.
