December 19

I woke to a beautiful sunny day. The storm had passed as I slumbered and recuperated over night. The storm left chilly temps though. It feels as if it is zero degrees outside. Well, I got up and dressed and made my way down stairs. Upon having breakfast Jingles stopped by and said “Uh, you feeling better today boss? Well, you got company out by the reindeer stalls and try to take it easy today. We have everything under control, we didn’t loose a lot of time, well, we did but were catching up by working in shifts. You tend to the papers; letters, emails whatever, leave the toys to us”! I said to Jingles “Yes I am feeling much better and I do not expect the elves to work round the clock. They all have families too”! Jingles replied “We know this but we want to do this. The kids count on us too!”. I smiled and looked down at my little friend and said “OK, you have the reins Jingles, if you need anything though I expect to be called. I will go tend to my guest now, thank you and all the elves Jingles!” “your welcome Santa”. I then made my way out to the reindeer stalls.

I walked up to the reindeer stall to see my old friend Frosty the Snowman. “Hello dear friend, it has been too long since we last met!” I said. “Hi Santa!, are you feeling better today? I hope so, you looked a little rough last night when Rudolph and I found you!” Said Frosty. I said to Frosty “I appreciate everything you and Rudolph have done. By the way where is Rudolph, I would like to thank him as well”. Frosty replied “ He is out training he’ll be back later” said Frosty. “So, my old friend, what brings you out this way this time of year?” I asked Frosty. “Nothing really, just wanted to catch up with an old friend and spend a day, then I have to head back to the snow wife and snow kids.” Frosty replied. “I am glad to see you old friend. We have spent many, many years in this winter wonderland as friends. I wish you would move closer to Christmas Town” I said. “I know Santa, but we have a home out there in the frozen land and we are happy and don’t have to worry about anything, not even the sun anymore.” Said Frosty.

Frosty and I spent the day catching up and reminiscing about the past and the very first time we met. It was good to be able to talk to my old friend and see him again. After training was completed Rudolph came by and I thanked him and Frosty for their heroic deeds. Then later at a banquet to honor them I was able to present them both with a key to Christmas Town. At the end of the day it was tearful to see Frosty go again but I know he will be back someday again!

It is always good to talk and share with old friends that you haven’t seen in a while. You should really try it if you have a friend that you haven’t seen or talked to in a while give them a call or go by and see them! I am off to write letters! Then to bed! Only 4 Day’s to go !!!!!!!!! Goodnight to you all!!!!!!!
