As one might expect for this time of year, it is burr cold today. A double hot chocolate with double the marshmallows is exactly what the Elf ordered! Jessica used nearly half a bag just to get me to be quiet about wanting more marshmallows all the time. It is hard to get that many marshmallows into your mouth at one time, but I sure tried! My cheeks puffed out just like a chipmunks! I just truly enjoy that combination on a cold winter morning!
Today just passed on by so fast! Yesterday was slow but today was barely here. It seems I had just finished my last big gulp of hot chocolate when it was time to head back home for dinner. Sometimes it is like that and it usually means it was a good day.
What made today so great was the assortment of elves that came back to the North Pole from around the world to get some last minute details worked out for their areas of the world. It is so enjoyable to see so many elves from around the world all gather happily together. They will be here for the rest of this week verifying the 'Good and Naughty' list as well as making sure any electrical components being delivered to their country have the right plugs and frequencies set. Nothing would be worse than having a nice new hair dryer that can not be plugged in because it is made to fit a different type of receptacle! I am sure we all know you should never use anything but proper plugs to keep fires from starting and most certainly never stick anything except an electrical plug in the sockets. This certainly one of the things I make sure they teach down at the schools at an early age and is part of the safety instructions prior to setting up this town for Christmas. Accidental fires or electrical shocks are never a good thing.
Did you know there are 5 MILLION!! hair follicles on the average adult! That certainly is a bunch!
Well Ho! Ho! Ho! And a barrel full of snow; it is bed time for Mister Jolly. The excitement builds and the day approaches. Be good everyone and pass out a few hugs to your family today. Every day is a good day to let your family know how much you love them.
