December 13

Well, I have to admit, I did not sleep a wink last night. I was up all night trying to locate elves and create a plan in order to free the already captured elves. Unfortunately during the night a few more elves were caught. Elf Tizzy Lish, Elf Sprinkles and Elf Christmas Carole were captured. So now I have 5 elves that have been taken. I was able to make it back to the main house before the morning daybreak with the remainder of the elves in town. I feel a little better knowing that the majority of the elves and Mrs. Claus are safe at the house but my heart is breaking knowing I have elves that are not here with us.
As the first ray’s of sun hit the damaged Christmas Town, I went and spoke with the elves and said “my dear, dear friends, I know that right now things are looking the worst they have ever looked here at the North Pole, we have dear friends that are missing and not with us, we have a lot of damage in the town and Christmas itself is in jeopardy. I have this to say and I say it with a firm conviction, I will not rest until our friends are back safe and our homes have been freed from the terrible situation, but I am going to need the help from a few of you.” The elves hushed and I heard a small voice from the back say “Santa, I will help, I don’t know what I can do, but I will help.” I looked to the back and said to the elves who was that tender voice? The elves parted and there stood one of our youngest elves Elf SnowBearCub. I looked at her and said “I am proud to have you.” After that there was a rush of elves wanting to help. I then stated to explain to the elves the plan that I had constructed over the wee hours of the night before and gave everyone there assignments. I told the elves chosen to use great stealth as if they were watching a child and not to be seen. I then wished them well and told them to wait until the signal was given and my little friends disappeared and went to their posts to get ready.
Just at that moment, There was a huge “CRASH”, that came through the window and part of the wall. It was a huge ice boulder. I told the elves to get back and peered over the boulder to see the Ice Captain. The Ice Captain held a cold stare on my eyes and yelled to me “ Ye better be ready come daylight tomorrow Claus cuz the scurvy of me and my men are coming to town Ha Ha!! An we be meaning to take them elves ye be hiding on us!” the Ice Capatin then said “ Ye better not cry, Ye better not pout I be telling ya why, cus Christmas is going to be mine!!!” The Ice Captain turned around and walked back to the Ice Ship chuckling all the way there.
I knew then, that we had to be ready and ready to get our friends back. Now it is time for me to go find the reindeer since the stalls are behind the house and get them ready as well. Good night my darling’s, Tomorrow is going to be a big day for us all! Sleep tight and have dreams of wonderful thoughts!
