We are really getting busy! Time is getting close, I can feel it and see it. The elves are singing, the reindeer are practicing takeoffs and landings and the young ones are trying to copy them. Ho! Ho! Ho! What a sight! A few have actually gotten off the ground with some height to the takeoff. Now if they could only land on their hooves and not their tails or noses. As they grow they will do just great, it's just now that we have to worry about. Have you ever heard of White tailed deer? Well they are white tailed and white nosed because the bandages around their noses are white. The shelves are getting overstuffed with toys waiting to be packed onto the sleigh. Bikes, sleds and large cars and trucks line the walls of the workshop.
The trees are decorated all over Christmas Town and elves are often around the big tree in the Town Square singing. Sometimes they will play some football and I like to sit on the porch and watch them, now and then I will play but I like to watch mostly. One elf will tackle the one with the ball on the "50 yard line" and because of the ice they both slide to the "35 yard line. I know falling on that ice hurts but they keep doing it. Sometimes if there is a disagreement as to where they fell or finally stopped sliding they will ask my opinion.
