December 11

Good day my darlings. Comet, Erty, Nitetime and I made it safely back to the North Pole. I am glad to be home too. Well today we got everyone together in the great hall for a meeting. All the elves came walking in. All my little friends were back to their normal selves. As we all gathered I spoke out to the elves. “My dear, dear friends. I am sorry that your “gifts” are gone and I did not do that to be selfish. All of you know how much I cherish you and what you do here at the North Pole. Without all of you there would be no Santa and even worse there would be no Christmas.” Up through the middle of the crowd walked Sprinkles. She came up to me, looked me in the eyes and started to cry, saying “ I am so sorry Santa, I do not know what happened to me, I was not myself.” “Now, now” I said to Sprinkles “there is nothing to be sorry for, you got to be super powered elves for a few days and I received another adventure. HO!HO!HO! The thing to do now is to get back into the swing of things and make sure that Christmas is a go!!!!” All the elves cheered and it took about a minute to get everyone back to their stations and get the town fired up again. After everyone had departed I headed up to my workshop. I was in amazement with all the letters that had piled up but with a little Christmas magic I know that they will be answered on time. First I wanted to head over to my snowglobe. My snowglobe allows me to see any child in the world. Let’s see, there in Little Rock a little girl is all excited about having her father home for the holidays. Now let’s see what is going on in Australia. I see things are warming up there in Sydney and a family is getting ready to take an adventure in the outback, I hope they have fun! Now looking at Siberia is another story, there it is all frozen tundra and there is a little boy staying warm by cuddling up to his grandmother. Now my last stop is to look in on some special kids in Ocala. I just had to swing by Wyomina Park Elementary to make sure some children I have talked to are staying good.

Ah, all the wonderful sights to see through my snowglobe. It is glorious being back at the North Pole and having everything going right for a change. Tomorrow I think I might take it easy for a day but we will see. HO!HO!HO! As for now, it is time to get the letters going and enjoy some cookies and hot chocolate!! HO!HO!HO! Have a good night my darlings and sleep tight. I will see you soon. Yes you!
